Um...this is my favorite. Okay, just kidding. :) I have only been following your blog for about a month but the post that sticks in my mind is the one about "Coloring Someone's World". It was inspiring and encouraging that there are people out there who desire to be unselfish and serving. Loved the tips and personally I'd be thrilled to see more tips like that. Just today I was looking online for ideas for "sympathy baskets".
My favorite post is the one you wrote about journaling. It reminded me of my mom and her journals she has kept as long as I can remember. It also inspired me to create a journal jar for her which was a gift for Christmas. She loves it!

Goodness--it's hard to pick a favorite! The first one that pops to mind is the Give a Date post (but there really are so many!). I loved that the post was so practical for a variety of families. We've been told very often that the best gift we can give our child is to love each other. Thanks for giving helpful ideas of how to encourage others to strive for that as well!
...and I follow you! ;-)
I found your post on Shelter Sightings very moving.
I am a recent follower, who enjoys reading and learning from your blog, and would love to enter the giveaway.
your blog inspired me to write my own thanks
Pamela, your post about contentment hit a chord with me...I also have appreciated the posts about child-rearing; recognizing and building on your child's strengths and interests, etc.
You mean I can't just chose them all? Ok, well, be that way!
I pick the contentment post as my favorite.

PS, do I get 500 extra entries for being the much-loved niece/cousin?

You know me...any time you want to write about books, you would make my day.
I loved your post about your mom and mothers.
i love your family photographs. They really show how close you all are

I enjoy all of them but I did like the Stylish Blogger Award page where you listed different blogs that you visited. I now have a new Sunday afternoon hobby of visiting some blog sites! Especially enjoy those where I know the people!
You would make it hard by asking us to pick a favorite post! :) I think my favorite one(s) are the gift posts. I love your gift giving ideas - you always do things up so pretty! Especially like them if they include a recipe for something we can give away!
My favorite: Shelter under the Auntie tree..I commented on that post...I enjoy reading all of your posts.

I've read every post and was one of your first followers on gfc!
I like you post on Sheltering Sightings because one person can't do everything, but one person can do something.
I really loved reading the post "Under Mom's Love Tree". It honestly made me tear up. I just had my 3rd baby and I wish that my mom could be closer for those days when you need that extra bit of help. Your Mom sounds truly wonderful!
I follow your blog with Google Friend Connect as MountainMommy. Thanks!
Wow....do I really have to choose one. I would have to say (since I have to) that the post "A time to shelter" is probably my favorite because it spoke to me so much. I especially liked the reminder to ask God's permission before saying yes. I really needed that! Thanks again for sharing.
I follow you on GFC.
I would hate to even think of giving you a suggestion for a tobic since you're doing so well on your own. I think God is doing such a good job of giving you things to say that you don't need our imput. But since you asked, I also would appreciate anything for grandparents.
OK so it took a me a few minutes to think of a topic I'd love to have your input on, but here goes:
Emily: Ideas for sheltering teens -- maybe some ideas on the kinds of little gifts that make their day!
Melanie: Love to have you share on the topic: "Sheltering your family by making a home" (i.e. some of your creative decorating tips)
Pam: Thoughts on making guests feel relaxed/at home/special - i.e. entertaining ideas

I have only been reading your blog for a very short time, so I haven't had a chance to read too many posts, but of the ones I have read, the Mom Tree is my fav. I really like all of them, though.
I love the one about being an Aunite. My sister is pregnant with her first child, and I can't wait to be an aunt. I have 3 nephews, but they live out of state and I hardly ever get to see them. My sister and her husband live nearby and I am so excited to participate in the life of my future niece/nephew.
I like you on FB.

I enjoyed the Magic Wand because it reinforced the importance of focusing on each child's individuality and unique talents.

Thanks for stopping by Praises of a Wife and Mommy. I am a new follower. I am new to your site so this is my favorite post so far! :)
I liked your "Sheltering through Discipline" post. The little "present" idea was cute!
I'm a new GFC follower. Looking forward to more posts on your blog!
I'm new to your blog, but I like your Shelter Sightings post from 1/18. I've been looking for some new and different recipes for my bread machine.... the Cottage Cheese Dill Bread sounds interesting.
Oh, forgot to mention you can contact me via my profile. For an extra entry, I'm a GFC follower.
Great giveaway! I'd like to enter. After browsing through a few of your posts here, I really like the one with the "diaper cake"... lol, it's so cute!
I'm now following you on google friend connect.
Lastly, I added you on facebook.
Have a blessed day!!
I was told about your blog, & the current giveaway for an Amazon card... my family always have something to purchase from there, so we'd like to enter the contest!
You have a wonderful blog. I've been reading through some of your recent posts just now... I really liked "The Sheltering Tree of the Word" {I'm afraid it had something to do with the pictures of lovely old books...}
I am a new fan on facebook!
Also now following with your blog. I'm really looking forward to reading more inspirational posts here. By the way, your blog's design is just splendidly beautiful!
Pam it is so hard to choose just one I like many of them. But I guess the one I like the best is the on about given a gift to someone because you are thinking of them. You are an inspiration to me. I wish I was a little more creative. Thanks for this blog.
I liked your "Auntie Tree" post - I'm an aunt and it's great!
One of my favorites is the post about the "Sheltering Word." Thanks so much!
My fave is under mom's love tree. I also have fibro and I can relate.
