Real joy comes not from ease or riches or from the praise of men, but from doing something worthwhile. ~Wilfred Grenfell
Do you ever wish you had new ideas for sheltering? Some of us shelter with food, others with crafty gifts; some like to use words in an uplifting post, others give of of time and resources. I'd like this to be a place for us to share sheltering ideas. So this will be the first Sharing the Shelter linkup. I'm planning fun giveaways to help you shelter--some for all who visit and once in a while the giveaway will be just for those of you who join the party. I'm excited, and I hope you are, too.
This is filled with recipes to use for sheltering. Homemade graham crackers, candy cane chocolate chip cookies, chocolate-pear tea bread and more. I thought the recipes may be complicated or use out-of-the-ordinary ingredients. Instead it's a fun cookbook any of us can use to shelter. Make a batch of Chunky Cookies; you can give your pastor's son a dozen and still have enough to shelter your own family. So, leave a comment if you want to be entered to win. I'll announce the winner in next Wednesday's Sharing the Shelter.

- Only two links per blog each week
- Grab my button or leave a text link-back
- Visit the two blogs before yours
- Shelter someone!
*Edited to add: A couple changes I'll make next week: You'll be able to link two posts and the thumbnails will be larger. I'm still learning.
