Thank you for the resource. It's possible my children only bully each other, aka sibling rilavry?

Great reminder that bullying is still so prevalent in our culture. We should be focusing on ways to build each other up.

We had a bully in our school who picked my daughter to terrorize. It was a nightmare. A very relevant subject. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for this information. Working at a school I can see how quickly bullying can come into play even at an early age. It is important to hold our own kids accountable.

In first grade, my son had a couple of mean kids in his class who always somehow found him to pick on. It's awful what some kids have to go through at school. The bullying needs to stop! Thanks for the resource.

Thanks for bringing to light this issue. Bullying is a terrible thing and needs to be discussed more. Bullying of any kid is wrong and needs to stop!

Great questions and we as parents need to face the facts if our child is a bully.

Not an easy thing to deal with by no means but we can stop it from happening if we face the facts. we live in such a world where everything is "not my child" and we are blind to it.

praying this helps many

Good information Pamela! Thank you for these posts. So many people do not want to address these issues. Today it is more serious than when I was a kid! Often we carry that sadness with us. My niece has a good friend who was on a business trip, her 17 year old teen daughter home alone. Lynsey had a boyfriend who broke up with her on Face Book and insulted her and mocked her. When her mom could not reach her she asked her own mom to go to the house. Her mom found Lynsey had hung herself. It was such a sad thing and yet these bullies go free, with no guilt! In fact, her mom is a really good artist and created some hand made wooden animals to place at her grave. Someone vandalized her grave and destroyed all the beautiful animals her mom created. This was September 2012, and I am still saddened by this cruel act. My friend Theresa says she steers clear of all social media because she finds it cutting and cruel. We really need to talk with our children but I notice today so many young people find humor in mocking or making fun of others. I see it on T.V. programs, advertisements, etc. When I was young my dad always said when I was old like him I would see the world would be backward. The bible is so clear outlining this, 2 Timothy 3:1-5 Our world is so loppsided it is just sad. I pray about this a lot. My little great grand boy is such a sweetheart, he is kind and caring and I hate to see him go to school and be picked on because he is so kind. So I pray. Again, thank you for sharing these important words with us.
