Daughters of Mine, Daughters of His

The art of mothering is to teach the art of living to our children.
                                      ~Elaine Heffner

These daughters of mine
Dressed in pink
Lavender rosebuds
Or the yellow of sunshine

Hair in pink curlers
Carter knits underneath
White tights waitingWith black patent shoes

These things I think of
Memories so clear
Of mothering daughters
In smocking and lace

Yet under the fancy
Importance far more
These daughters of mine
Are daughters of His

Made in God's image
Birthed in His love
Clothed in His righteousness
Living in Him

Now their days pass
In beauty and grace
Still daughters of mine
And daughters of His

Beautiful words, Pamela. Isn't it wonderful how God allows we mothers to *co-parent* His children?! What a blessing...

GOD BLESS!

(Trusting that you had a wonderful Mother's Day!)

Lovely! Certainly makes our job easier and more hopeful when we remember that Our Heavenly Father is assisting us in parenting our children.

Sweet.
Motherhood is indeed a gift as children are.

What sweet memories. Enjoy your babies. Soon they'll be big like mine.
